Barbara Gregor, who has served as a member of the Finance and Legal Board since December 2022, has requested, by mutual agreement with the Supervisory Board, the early termination of her duties, effective April 30, 2025. During her tenure at SMA, Barbara Gregor was a crucial figure, responsible for various vital areas including Accounting and Taxes, Finance, Property Management, Investor Relations, Governance, Compliance, Risk Management, and Internal Audit. Until February 2025, she also supervised the Digitalization and IT department. Under her leadership, SMA navigated a comprehensive restructuring period, solidifying its prominent position in the solar energy sector.
The Supervisory Board has appointed Dr. Kaveh Rouhi as Barbara Gregor's successor, a position he will assume on May 1, 2025. Dr. Rouhi brings extensive experience from the global financial sector and international services, having been instrumental in implementing SMA's recent restructuring program. His ascension to the CFO role is seen as a strategic step to keep SMA on its path of innovation and market leadership.
